INTO THE WOODS
@KOKANDY PRODUCTIONS

Jackson understudied JACK in Kokandy Productions' fall musical INTO THE WOODS.
Chopin Theatre in Wicker Park, Chicago October 10th thru January 12th.
Into the woods Reviews!
"On rare occasions, we theater critics see an understudy and, in the case of last night, I was just very glad I had the chance to see Jackson Mikkelsen play Jack in Kokandy Productions’ “Into the Woods.”
- Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune

"That huge reaction came, I think, because of how emotionally invested these two musicians appear in the show itself, feeling and living the bones of the score and also willing on the actors, including (on the night I was there) understudy Jackson Mikkelsen, whose Jack was profoundly moving."
- Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune

RAGTIME REVIEWS
"Recent graduate Mikkelsen is spot-on as a budding idealist who finds direction when he joins African Americans and Jewish immigrants in their struggle for civil rights."
-
Barbara Vitello, Northwest Daily Herald

"Jackson Mikkelsen as Mother’s Younger Brother, shows a percussive recognition of an innocent, naive and restless soul who becomes a sympathetic revolutionary. He is another strong performer."
- Regina Belt Daniels, Shaw Local Northwest Herald
